Site Visits
In some cases, it is necessary for our team to conduct a site visit, to identify the location of a business or debtor.
At Miller James, these site visits are carried out by our Directors, who specialise in this work and are approved by the Financial Conduct Authority.
When Are Site Visits Required?
Site visitors are a critical tool when it comes to debt recovery. These visits are a proactive approach to debt recovery that allow us to:
Confirm Trading Status: By visiting a business, we can determine whether they are still trading.
Locate Assets: Whilst on site, we can identify potential assets, such as equipment, vehicles and stock, and assess their condition, in case asset recovery is required.
Engage With Debtors: Site visits are an opportunity to meet face-to-face with debtors which can increase the likelihood of reaching a repayment agreement.
Gather Information: A site visit is one of the best opportunities to gathering information that may not be available online or through other channels.
